Gallery day, extended run, new contract

Ham Eun-jung posted photos on Instagram on September 17 from an exhibition by five advertising directors. She stood in front of two photographic works against a wide white wall. The show spans painting, video, and installation art, running through this Saturday.

The outing landed while her MBC daily drama 첫 번째 남자 is mid-run with a confirmed 20-episode extension. She plays twin sisters Ma Seo-rin and Oh Jang-mi simultaneously—a dual role that puts her in scenes against herself across two sharply contrasting characters.

She also recently renewed her contract with Mask Studio. The agency said the two parties are continuing their partnership on the basis of deep mutual trust, with plans to expand her work across dramas and global projects.

Three KBS trophies in four years

The extension and renewal cap a run that has moved fast. Ham Eun-jung won the KBS Acting Awards Female Supporting Actress prize in 2021. In 2024, 수지맞은 우리 earned her both the Excellence Acting Award and the Best Couple Award at the same ceremony. The following year, 여왕의 집—where she took her first title-lead credit—brought a second consecutive KBS Excellence Award, solo.

Before those recent drama runs she appeared in 근초고왕, 인수대비, and 드림하이. She led daily drama 사랑의 꽈배기 as female lead. She also crossed 100,000 subscribers on a Chinese video platform in 2021, picking up a silver button in the process.

A T-ara main vocalist and lead rapper, Ham Eun-jung holds a 3rd-degree black belt in Taekwondo and has backgrounds in pansori, ballet, dance, and singing. She married film director Kim Byung-woo on November 30, 2025, at a hotel in Seoul with family and close acquaintances present.
