Han Da-gam gives birth to first son at 47; delivery footage set for 'Superman is Back'

Han Da-gam gave birth to her first son on the afternoon of September 22. Mother and baby are both healthy.

At 47, she became a first-time mother six years after marrying a businessman in 2020. He was a year older than her. She announced her pregnancy this year through in vitro fertilization, calling herself "the entertainment industry's oldest first-time mother."

The 'Superman is Back' connection

Han Da-gam joined KBS 2TV's Superman is Back in May. The show followed her pregnancy from the start: she revealed the baby's gender on air (fetal name: Chaltteok-i / 찰떡이), and her husband's face appeared publicly for the first time through the program. A crew was in the delivery room, and footage from birth through the immediate aftermath will air on the show.

No exact date is locked in. The episode lands sometime in early to mid-October, though the timing could shift depending on how the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games broadcast schedule shakes out.

Who is Han Da-gam

She debuted in 1999 under the name Han Eun-jeong (한은정) in the drama For Love (사랑을 위하여). She appeared in Bright Girl's Success Story (명랑소녀 성공기), Full House (풀하우스), and Gumiho: Tale of the Fox's Child (구미호: 여우누이뎐). She changed her name to Han Da-gam in 2018.
