Han Hyo-joo and Gong Myung reunite as first loves in MBC baseball romance 'Your Ground'

MBC has confirmed the cast for 너의 그라운드 (Your Ground), a new Friday-Saturday drama set to premiere at the end of 2026.

Han Hyo-joo and Gong Myung play Seo Hee-seung and Kang Hae-hwan—first loves who reconnect after 11 years. Hee-seung is an undefeated lawyer sent to sports agency Donhaeng by her firm's leadership. She walks straight into professional baseball. Hae-hwan throws right-handed for the Miracles. He was called a "genius pitcher" in high school, but a career-ending incident derailed him into a long slump. When Hee-seung resurfaces as his agent, his climb back to the mound begins.

Kim Shin-rok is Dong Chi-young, Donhaeng's veteran representative. He negotiates contracts, handles free agency, manages salaries, and plots player careers—and mentors Hee-seung through it all. Sung Joon plays Yoon Yi-seok, a side-arm pitcher for the Miracles who became team ace while Hae-hwan was sidelined. He's the obvious rival.

The drama bills itself as a "ground healing romance." Director Lee Sang-yeop, who made Yumi's Cells and Know My Wife, is in charge. Hwang Hae-yeon writes—her first time in the role.
