TWEED arrives with 110,000 copies in week one

HYBE's seven-member girl group TWEED—Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Gia, Saki, Sea, and Lee Haneul—debuted with mini album TUNE & PLAY. First-week sales: 110,000 copies. That places them inside the all-time top 10 for girl group debut album first-week sales.

Every track charted on major domestic music charts. Title track SUN KISS. B-side GRLS.

The challenge that pulled in half of HYBE's roster

Social velocity matched the sales. By September 4, TikTok videos using SUN KISS and GRLS (original sound included) exceeded 160,000. On Instagram Reels, SUN KISS peaked at No. 3 and GRLS at No. 6 in trending audio.

The challenge attached to the songs drew participants across the label. TWICE Jihyo showed up. So did SEVENTEEN's Dino, Mingyu, Seungkwan, and DK. TOMORROW X TOGETHER's Taehyun. ENHYPEN's Sunoo and Niki. LE SSERAFIM's Hong Eunchae. TWS's Youngjae, Kyungmin, and Jihoon. CORTIS's Juhun.
