이소 and Yeon release dual-title duet album SEORI on Sept 15

Vocalist 이소 and singer-songwriter Yeon are releasing a duet album together. 서리 (SEORI) drops September 15 at 12:00 PM across online music platforms.

Two title tracks, one through-line

The album carries two title tracks — 서리 (SEORI) and 서리로 남은 기억이 — both chosen to map the emotional arc that follows loss. The concept: frost as a metaphor for the traces a relationship leaves behind in speech patterns, habits, and memory long after it ends.

The first title track, 서리, opens with lyrical piano that builds into a full band sound, pairing 이소's clear vocals with Yeon's calmer delivery to trace the journey from hoping someone won't leave to accepting they can't come back. The second, 서리로 남은 기억이, runs on fast-paced beats and an ethereal synth texture, with Yeon rapping against 이소's more forceful vocals. Mid-song, Japanese lyrics — 戻れない ("cannot return") — land to sharpen the dramatic atmosphere.

What each artist brought

Yeon produced every track on the album. His statement frames the project's emotional logic:

"Loss is not an empty space left by someone's absence, but a process of absorbing the words and habits of that time into oneself."

이소 described the album's central image from her own angle: "Love is like frost that must meet special moments and warmth to bloom. Even if it melts and disappears someday, its form remains long in the heart." She added that she hopes the songs reach those who have not yet bloomed.

(Two title tracks for a duet album is a choice — it signals neither artist wanted to subordinate their perspective to a single emotional statement.)
