ITZY's Chaeryeong set for November solo debut, third member to go solo after Yeji and Yuna

Chaeryeong goes solo in November
ITZY's Chaeryeong has confirmed a solo album for November. She becomes the group's third member to launch a solo career, following Yeji and Yuna. Music video filming is in the final prep stage.
The November release comes roughly 7 years and 9 months after ITZY debuted in 2019. It's also around 13 years after Chaeryeong first appeared on SBS K-Pop Star Season 3 and joined JYP Entertainment. ITZY has five members: Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna.
Chaeryeong works as the group's main dancer and vocalist. Her precise, delicate lines have defined her throughout ITZY's run. The album will likely reveal a different side of her as a solo artist.
The solo trail Yuna already blazed
Yuna (신유나, 22) moved first among the younger members. She released her debut solo album Ice Cream in March 2026, seven years after ITZY's debut. That made her the group's second solo act after Yeji. The title track shares the album's name.
At the release press conference in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, Yuna called the record a project containing her bright and positive charm. She said she prepared it to carry the energy she showed in team activities on her own.
On September 3, Yuna posted on Instagram a photo of herself standing between black and silver balloon decorations, holding a cake with her eyes closed toward the camera. (The cake, the balloons—she really nailed the birthday-post assignment.)
Yuna debuted with ITZY in February 2019 via the digital single IT'z Different. She's the group's youngest member and holds lead rapper, lead dancer, and sub-vocalist positions. She is 170 cm tall.
