Seven years between albums, one Han River busking set to mark the return
Jung Dong-ha released Oasis on September 6. His first mini album in seven years. The title track is a traditional rock ballad built on lyrical melody and a live band sound.
An hour before the digital release dropped, he held a comeback busking event at the Han River, giving fans their first live look at the song before it was officially out.
The live clip that brought three rock generations together
On September 9, a live clip for Oasis went up on the 1theK (WonderK) official YouTube channel. It features veteran rock singers Kim Jong-seo and Kim Kyung-ho alongside Jung Dong-ha. Three names that cover a significant stretch of Korean rock history in one performance.
Jung Dong-ha appeared on SBS Love FM's Yoo Min-sang's Hungry Radio live broadcast on September 16 to talk about the new song.
