Kasama Sho spent 30-40 min on airport fashion — only to find IVE's Yujin had stolen the crowd
Japanese entertainer Kasama Sho recounted two humbling Korean airport arrivals on MBC's Radio Star, including one where fans he thought were his own vanished with IVE's Yujin.
30 minutes of prep, zero fans waiting
Kasama Sho showed up on MBC Radio Star's 'K-Entertainment Odyssey' special on the 2nd alongside Ryu Seung-soo, Jo Hye-ryeon, and Mimi with a story that landed immediately.
Last year he'd gone full idol mode for a Korean interview trip: 30 to 40 minutes in the bathroom pulling together a no-makeup makeup look, the whole thing. "When I exited, I tried to look cool," he said. Two men from his Korean agency were standing there waving. That was it. He went straight to SNS afterward and posted that his Korean popularity had been proven to be a lie.
Then came the Yujin incident
A second visit looked different. He hadn't announced the trip, but the arrivals hall was packed. Fans had figured out he was coming. The immigration gate opened, the crowd surged toward him.
"Looking closely, IVE's Yujin was right in front. The fans disappeared with Yujin. I was waiting again with the two agency men."
Same two guys. Same result. Just a brief false alarm in the middle. (Yujin really said nothing and still won.)
Kasama Sho gets regular messages from Korean fans promising to meet him at the airport whenever he visits. The gap between those DMs and what actually shows up was the whole bit.
