All three KATSEYE EPs on Billboard 200 — at the same time
KATSEYE's entire catalog is holding the chart. The September 26 Billboard 200 shows all three of the group's EPs charting simultaneously for the fifth consecutive week. WILD at #22, BEAUTIFUL CHAOS at #160, SIS (Soft Is Strong) at #191.
WILD debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and has stayed in the upper tier since. BEAUTIFUL CHAOS has now logged 64 consecutive weeks on the chart. SIS (Soft Is Strong) sits at 28 cumulative weeks. That's staying power.
'Animal' and 'Hootie Frutti' both on Hot 100
"Animal" is at #28 on the Hot 100 in its 8th consecutive week, peak #24. Title track "Hootie Frutti" holds at #91 in its 5th week, peak #31. "Animal" also moved up three spots to #15 on Pop Airplay this week.
The Hootie Frutti music video crossed 100 million views 40 days after release. Fastest any KATSEYE official video has reached that mark. The Gabriela performance video has cleared 360 million views. The debut track "Touch" MV has passed 300 million.
4 MTV VMA nominations on September 27
KATSEYE is nominated in four categories at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, held September 27 at Peacock Theater in Los Angeles:
- Best Group
- Song of the Summer
- Best K-pop
- Best Choreography
The group was formed under HYBE and Geffen Records through HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk's "Multi-home, multi-genre" strategy. They debuted in the United States in 2024, applying what the company calls "K-pop methodology" to a Western market rollout. The chart run going into VMA night is about as clean a setup as you can get.
