KATSEYE hold UK Singles Chart #18 for 8 weeks straight as WILD keeps album chart presence

'Animal' locks in at 18, 'HOOTIE FRUTTI' holds the Top 50

KATSEYE have two tracks running simultaneously on the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100 for September 18–24. Animal, the pre-release single, held at No. 18 — matching the week before — for its eighth consecutive chart entry. Title track HOOTIE FRUTTI dropped seven places to No. 48. Still, that's five straight weeks inside the Top 50.

The mini-album WILD sits at No. 49 on the UK Official Albums Chart Top 100, down 16 positions from last week and also five weeks running. Two singles and the album charting simultaneously in the UK is significant.

The Billboard 200 No. 1 that set this up

WILD is KATSEYE's third mini-album. The label positioned the project around percussion-based pop, heavy drum beats, and witty lyrics, with a bold music video for HOOTIE FRUTTI. Last month it debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 — the group's first time topping that chart.

The rest of the K-pop picture on UK charts this week

BLACKPINK's Lisa dropped 32 places to No. 98 in her second week with SaWaDiKa. The track is a pre-release from her new mini-album PRESS PLAY, due October 23.

Huntrix — the virtual girl group from Netflix's K-pop anime film K-pop Demon Hunters — saw GOLDEN fall four spots to No. 62. The song has now been on the UK Singles Chart for 65 consecutive weeks.

On the albums side, BTS's fifth studio album ARIRANG nudged up one place to No. 98 for its 26th straight week on the UK Official Albums Chart. The album previously gave BTS their third No. 1 on that chart.
