Kim Jong-guk married a non-celebrity last year. On his YouTube channel Jimjongguk, he sat down with divorce lawyer Park Min-chul to ask about the legal boundaries of married life. The video featured Lee Seok-hun and Son Jun-ho, who are in the musical Gwanghwamun Yeonga, plus Ma Seon-ho. Its title: 유부남들이 헬스장에서 이혼 변호사를 만나면... ("What happens when married men meet a divorce lawyer at the gym...").

Kim started with a scenario: could a wife forcing her husband to exercise be grounds for divorce? Park was quick. "Forcing someone to exercise is not automatically grounds for divorce. It's nagging for the sake of the household."

The questions kept coming

Kim flipped it. What if a man exercises too much and neglects the household? "I exercise while being devoted to it," he added fast. Park said there could be a case if someone skips all family duties to play soccer every Sunday. Then he joked he was joking, before adding that genuinely unnecessary hobbies—overnight fishing trips every single day—can actually be cited in divorce proceedings.

Next, Kim volunteered his own domestic record. "Before I go, I do the recycling, and when I come back, I do all the laundry." Park reassured him that skipping laundry and recycling alone would not hold up as divorce grounds. Ma Seon-ho, watching the back-and-forth, cut in: "If it's like this, you should get personal counseling." The room laughed.
