IZ*ONE's Lee Chae-yeon debuts in Japan on October 8 with ボクノコエ (My Voice), marking the first release from DayOneDream Japan's new D1 RECORDS label.
Lee Chae-yeon (이채연) will make her first official solo debut in Japan on October 8, releasing the single ボクノコエ (My Voice) and holding a debut showcase the same day.
First artist on a brand-new label
D1 RECORDS, a music label newly established by DayOneDream Japan—the local Japanese subsidiary of her agency DayOneDream—launches with this project. The label plans to "solidify the artist's brand value and fandom through high-quality content planning specialized for the Japanese market and systematic management." Expansion across all of Asia starts here, with Japan first.
From K-pop Star to solo discography
Chae-yeon appeared on SBS K-pop Star Season 3 in 2013. She was selected through Mnet Produce 48 in 2018 to debut in IZ*ONE. After the group disbanded, she joined Mnet Street Woman Fighter in 2021 and launched her Korean solo career in October 2022 with mini-album HUSH RUSH. Her Korean solo tracks include "KNOCK," "LET'S DANCE," and "No Tears On The Dancefloor."
