Lee Hi and Dok2 to share stage in Ulaanbaatar with special collaboration set

Lee Hi and Dok2 head to Mongolia

Lee Hi and Dok2 are taking their partnership on stage. The couple performs in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on September 19—each with a solo set, then together for what organizers call a "special collaboration."

Organizers framed it as a genre crossover: "The top artists of K-POP and K-Hip-Hop will take the same stage on the same night." They promised "an unforgettable experience" where audiences can "enjoy crazy energy, songs, and dances with superstars."

From fan to partner

Dok2 has said: "I was an enthusiastic fan since Lee Hi's debut." He met her through a mutual acquaintance in 2014. From music collaborators to a couple. Now they co-run 808 HI RECORDINGS as both romantic and business partners. (Dok2 was born in 1996, Lee Hi in 1990.)

Two careers, one stage

Lee Hi was 15 when she placed runner-up on SBS's K-pop Star. Her songs include "한숨," "홀로," and "1,2,3,4." Dok2 was also 15 when he contributed to Dynamic Duo's "서커스," becoming Korea's youngest hip-hop producer and rapper at the time. He later judged five seasons of Mnet's Show Me The Money and produced "연결고리" and "공중도덕."

September 19 marks their first joint stage as a married couple.
