First original release in three years
Lee Jin-ah releases digital single Journey of Dreaming on September 23. It's her first new song in one year, following the Psalm 150 Project Vol.17 track 나를 눈동자같이 in September 2025. Strip out project releases and the gap stretches to three years—her last original studio work was the third full-length album 도시의 속마음, out in September 2023.
That album won her the Best Pop Album award at the 21st Korean Popular Music Awards in 2024.
What the song is about
Journey of Dreaming tells a story about forgotten dreams and hope in a busy daily life. Lee Jin-ah has written, composed, arranged, and produced every track across her discography: single Appetizer, mini-album RANDOM, and full-lengths 진아식당 Full Course and 도시의 속마음. This release continues that pattern.
Director Lee Sang-deok helms the music video. Photographer and director Rie handled all concept photos and profile images, shooting against a forest backdrop to capture harmony with nature. The jacket artwork is a collaboration between Rie and 10-year-old artist Ryo (료).
The arc so far
Lee Jin-ah first registered with the public through SBS audition program K팝스타 시즌4 in 2014. Twelve years and a full discography later, she's back with something that sounds personal. (Forgotten dreams in a busy daily life—relatable, honestly.) The single drops September 23.
