'Take Me Tokyo' lands on two continents in two days
Lim Ji-woo (imzoo) dropped Take Me Tokyo on overseas music platforms at midnight on September 25. The domestic release followed September 26 at noon. Both Korean and English versions are available.
The single circles around a repeating chorus—"Come and take me Tokyo Tokyo"—described as bright and free-spirited. The music video was shot in Goseong, Gangwon Province, with scenes of traveling with friends, natural landscapes, and the sea.
She previewed the song live at Soop-se-gwon Live before the official release.
From SoundCloud at 14 to Spotify milestones
Lim Ji-woo started uploading original songs to SoundCloud and YouTube at age 14. '장미꽃' hit 1 million plays on SoundCloud. Love Actually - Eng ver. crossed 1 million streams on Spotify. In July she released waiting for u, a collaboration with singer-songwriter will hyde.
