"The hardest show we've ever done"

Min Kyung-ah and Choi Ji-hye star in the Korean production of Frozen. On September 24, 2026, they appeared on the YouTube channel Jo Hyun-ah's Ordinary Thursday Night and didn't mince words about the toll the show takes.

They called getting through the vocal material "거의 기인열전급" (roughly: a feat for the extraordinary). Then they went simpler: "The difficulty level is the highest of all performances we have done. It was the most difficult."

Min Kyung-ah plays Elsa, the queen of Arendelle with powerful abilities. She performed Let It Go during the appearance and set the tone early: "The narrative of our musical is deeper than the animation."

Warm energy got them the roles

Choi Ji-hye, who plays Anna (the sister who sets off to find Elsa), once asked the production why she and Min were chosen. The casting director's answer: "When that person entered the audition room, because of the warm energy that person had, we cast them after seeing that energy."

Vibes, but official.

Comediaian Lee Chang-ho also appeared on the YouTube show, playing Olaf. He's coined his own label: not a "musical actor," not a "comedian," but a "musicion" (뮤지언).
