Min Woo-hyuk joins 'Rebecca' as Maxim de Winter for 8th season run at Chungmu Art Center

Min Woo-hyuk announced his casting in musical Rebecca on September 22 via social media. He plays Maxim de Winter, sharing the role with Kim Woo-hyung and Tae.

Rebecca eighth season, November 2026 – March 2027

The production runs November 24, 2026 through March 14, 2027 at Seoul Chungmu Art Center Grand Theatre. It's the show's eighth season. "I will greet you with a wonderful work. I will prepare well," Min Woo-hyuk wrote.

Before opening night, he has ONEPIECE on October 17 at Seoul Nodeul Island Live House—two performances, afternoon and evening. Jo Hyung-gyun, Yuria, and Kim Won-bin are also performing.

From IV Cos to Enjolras to the lecture hall

Min Woo-hyuk debuted in 2007 as main vocalist of four-member group IV Cos (포코스). After military service, his wife suggested he try musical theatre. He took the leap. His stage roles include Enjolras in Les Misérables, plus Ben-Hur, Frankenstein, Jekyll and Hyde, Mongyu Doyuan, Hero, and Evita. Earlier in 2026 he performed in Female Police Officer twice: January 27 to February 22, then April 10 to May 10.

Television work spans JTBC's The Third Charm, MBC's Humans with Manners, JTBC's Doctor Cha Jung-sook, and KBS 2TV's Immortal Songs and Men Who Cook. He attended the Immortal Songs 2026 King of Kings Red Carpet event in July.

He taught at Seokyeong University's Musical Theatre Department in 2021 and has been on faculty at Daegu Science University's Musical Acting Department since 2022. (He pitched baseball in high school at Gunsan Commercial High School.)
