16 tracks, one Spider-Man theme, and a new era
Mrs. GREEN APPLE's sixth studio album POPS arrives September 30. The band calls it "Phase 3"—a new chapter for the Japanese act.
Nine new songs make up the bulk of the 16 tracks. Five previously released cuts round it out: GOOD DAY, lulu., Wind and Town, Caring Happiness, and Summer Shadow. The standout is Brand New, the official Japanese theme song for Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Seoul popup opens four days early
Mrs. GREEN APPLE is taking POPS offline with a popup store at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido from September 26 through October 5. "MGA POP UP STORE POPS in SEOUL" wraps itself around the album's visuals and worldview, letting Korean fans experience the Phase 3 concept before and after the record drops.
Physical CDs hit the popup on September 30 (album release day) on a first-come, first-served basis. Advance reservation details and merchandise info roll out through Universal Music Korea's official Instagram. The popup runs for ten days after the album drops, so there's plenty of time to grab a copy if you miss the first rush.
