Ryu Sujeong rolls out a music video per day for mini album 4 'ALL THE COLORS I AM'
Ryu Sujeong is dropping one MV per track from her Sept. 11 mini album. 'Birthday Cake' arrives today, with a full six-video compilation set for Sept. 16.
Six MVs in six days
Ryu Sujeong released mini album 4, ALL THE COLORS I AM, on September 11. Instead of a single music video, she's been rolling out one clip per track every day since.
Crying to landed the day before the album. Lucky Charms followed on September 12, shoulda woulda coulda on September 13. Today (September 14), Birthday Cake goes live on her official SNS and YouTube channel. Friendly Fire — the final track — drops September 15, and a compilation video collecting all six MVs arrives September 16.
What the album is
ALL THE COLORS I AM builds around a simple idea: Ryu Sujeong can't be pinned to a single image. The title track Diamond carries that theme inward. It's about realizing that what makes you shine was already inside you all along.
She co-wrote the lyrics across the album alongside producer Lee Hae-in (이해인). This is her first project under a new exclusive deal with entertainment company all my anecdotes (올마이애닉도츠).
The comeback stage
September 12 brought her MBC Show! Music Core debut for the album. Barefoot. Mid-performance, she stripped off her accessories. Live vocals held steady throughout. Six tracks, six MVs, one week — the rollout is doing exactly what it's supposed to do.
