Singer and designer Shin Ji-su married a Hong Kong-based finance professional on September 19 at Seoul National University's Veritas Hall.

Shin Ji-su got married on September 19 at Seoul National University's Veritas Hall. The ceremony was private. Her husband graduated from Hong Kong University's School of Business and works in finance there—which meant the couple spent roughly two and a half years commuting between Seoul and Hong Kong before tying the knot.
In a statement, Shin Ji-su called her husband "the warmest and most like myself when we are together." She added: "We will respect each other as we are and live well together."
On keeping things quiet, she said she'd wanted to prepare without fanfare but felt grateful to those who "did not forget me as a singer and congratulated me warmly."
Shin Ji-su broke through in 2011 on Mnet's Superstar K3. She covered Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" and made it to the live-broadcast Top 7 while still in Korean Arts High School. She went on to Kyung Hee University's Department of Postmodern Music, signed with Loen Entertainment in 2012, and dropped her first mini-album 20's Party 1—title track "Hey Jude"—in 2015. A single, "그대만 있다면," followed in 2018.
These days she works as an artist and designer under the name babicasso (베비카소). Born in 1993, she's 33 this year.
