'Solo Hell 3' couple Lee Gwan-hee and Yu Si-eun launch joint YouTube channel, 2 months after going public
Basketball player Lee Gwan-hee and reality star Yu Si-eun went public in July. Now they're launching a couple channel on YouTube.
Two months in, they're making it official — on camera
Lee Gwan-hee and Yu Si-eun uploaded a joint video to Yu Si-eun's personal YouTube channel on September 10, announcing they will run a couple channel together. The video, titled 오랜만에 인사드립니다 ("Long time no see"), marked their first public appearance as a content duo.
They met on Netflix dating reality show Solo Hell 3 in 2023. During the broadcast, each chose different contestants and didn't end up as a final couple. They kept in touch after filming wrapped and confirmed a romantic relationship in July.
What they said in the video
Lee Gwan-hee kept it simple: "The two of us are now together." Yu Si-eun went straight for the roast. He has "a disease where he acts awkward whenever the camera turns on." Off-camera, she said, he's constantly saying "honey, you try it first." Lee Gwan-hee's deadpan response: "Haven't you sobered up yet?"
She also spotted a resemblance to actor Park Bo-gum. "Doesn't he look like him? I just realized he looks like Bo-gum." Whether Lee Gwan-hee appreciated the comparison remains a mystery.
The plan going forward
Yu Si-eun said the couple intends to "show all of our chaotic daily life" through the new shared space, which will run alongside their individual accounts.
