소란's Ko Young-bae released the mini-album Layer (레이어) on September 18. That same day, he held a showcase at MPMG headquarters in Mapo-gu, Seoul to introduce the new tracks.
It was his first major public appearance since 소란 became a one-man operation. Ko didn't shy away from the transition. "After moving to solo activities, I worried members would feel the absence," he said.
(Running a full band's identity on one person is a different kind of pressure — Ko seems aware of that.)
