Taeyang and Min Hyo-rin spotted on lunch date in Hannam-dong, 8 years into marriage
Eyewitness accounts show BIGBANG's Taeyang and his wife Min Hyo-rin dining together and visiting a café with their child.
Spotted: lunch, a café, and a kid
Taeyang and Min Hyo-rin have been married since 2018. Eight years in, they were spotted on a lunch date at a restaurant in Hannam-dong. A witness who shared the sighting online described the couple eating in a private room. The witness noted that Taeyang had "eyes so sweet" despite being in the middle of an album release cycle.
"He must be busy with an album release, but he's on a date at a restaurant with his wife, and his eyes are so sweet," the witness wrote.
A second sighting followed the next day. An acquaintance of another online user reportedly saw Taeyang at a café the day after his Goyang concert, spending time with Min Hyo-rin and their son, who was born in 2021.
What Taeyang said about home life
The timing lines up with a recent appearance on the YouTube entertainment show Pingyego. Taeyang described his off-duty routine in plain terms: "My daily life is very simple. Aside from working and my job, I am devoted to my family. I was originally a homebody, and I do everything at home."
(The sightings suggest he wasn't exaggerating.)
Min Hyo-rin has not taken on notable acting work since the 2019 film The Bicycle King Eom Bok-dong.
