V01D wraps 'journey #02' concert with second mini-album previews, 'YOUTHQUAKE' drops Oct. 13

Four months, one more stop on the journey

V01D held their second solo concert, V01D journey #02, on October 20 at 5 PM at Rolling Hall in Hongdae, Seoul — roughly four months after their first solo show, journey #01, in May.

The setlist mixed both eras. First mini-album tracks LUNA and Tug of War shared space with three songs from the upcoming second mini-album YOUTHQUAKE: Scream Out Now, Memory, and double title track Ending Credit. Memory hit the stage in full for the first time. V01D also ran back-to-back covers of King Gnu's Hikoutei (飛行艇) and WOODZ's AMNESIA.

What YOUTHQUAKE is actually about

The band describes YOUTHQUAKE as an album about youth caught in anxiety and wandering, turning that instability into forward momentum and building their own world out of it. Double title track Ending Credit frames the journey like a film — looking back on shared time, then opening on a new story at the credits.

Member Jung Ji-seop played guitar and debuted a section of his first OST solo track, Your Tomorrow (너의 내일), sharing behind-the-scenes stories about how nervous he was recording it. Main vocalist Jo Ju-yeon stepped into guitar backing during the AMNESIA and Back To Me stages (a flex for a vocalist, not gonna lie).

The group ran a ticket-number lottery on the night. Five pieces of clothing the members had worn during the show went to winners.

"We asked at the last concert for you to join us on V01D's next journey, and we are grateful that you kept that promise," the members told the crowd.
