Won Hyun-jun and Lee Su-jin posted identical statements to their personal SNS accounts on September 14: "I have promised to spend my life with my most precious love on the coming October 4."
The couple had been quietly documenting their relationship for over a year before going public. On June 2 last year, Won Hyun-jun posted on Instagram with the caption "00602+890602=250602 노빠꾸데이" — revealing that he and Lee Su-jin share the same birthday. The equation adds their birth dates to land on June 2, 2025, which he tagged as a no-turning-back day. They traveled together to Okinawa, Japan in November of last year, and in May this year were photographed playing golf together in the rain.
How they met on set
Both starred in the Disney+ series Hypernife last year. That's where they met professionally.
Won Hyun-jun debuted in 2009 with the KBS2 drama Iris. He later appeared in Itaewon Class and Fine: Country Bumpkins. This year he played Kang Guk-chul, nicknamed "Ddalgangi," in the SBS drama Kim Bujang.
Lee Su-jin debuted in 2019 with the OCN drama Running Investigator. Her credits include Miss Monte Cristo, Beneficial Fraud, and The Call You Are Making Now.
