Actor Yoon Jong-hoon wrapped daily drama '기쁜 우리 좋은 날' on Sept. 17 with an 11.3% finale rating, one week before announcing his Nov. 1 wedding to actress Han Eun-seo.

Yoon Jong-hoon is packing a lot into the next few weeks. The KBS 1TV daily drama 기쁜 우리 좋은 날, which starred him opposite Eom Hyun-kyung, ended September 17 with an 11.3% viewership rating by Nielsen Korea national standards. The series peaked at 11.6%. His agency YK Media Plus released closing remarks on September 18.
Yoon Jong-hoon singled out director Lee Jae-sang and writer Nam Sun-hye for creating his character, architect Koh Gyeol—a man who seemed to have it all but carried hidden wounds and gaps inside.
"While living as Gyeol for a long time, I was able to share many emotions and moments," he said, praising the behind-the-scenes team for providing "a good environment" to develop the role.
On SNS he wrote: "'기쁜 우리 좋은 날' had its final broadcast. Thank you for watching and loving it so much."
Less than seven weeks separate the drama's end from his wedding day. On September 7, Yoon Jong-hoon announced via his official fan cafe that he will marry actress Han Eun-seo on November 1 in Seoul. She is 10 years his junior. The two met on the 2018 drama 리턴.
His announcement read: "A precious connection has been made, and now I will walk through life with that person."
Before then, one more commitment waits. He performs in 푸른 점의 진주, a new work for theater group Ban's 30th anniversary, at Sogang University Merry Hall Grand Theater through September 19.
