ALLDAY PROJECT's Youngseo keeps 'CRASH' era going with all-black charisma
ALLDAY PROJECT's Youngseo has been working brand events nonstop since the group's second EP 'CRASH' dropped on September 28.
Nine months, one EP, and a DM that changed everything
ALLDAY PROJECT released CRASH on September 28 at 6 PM. The THEBLACKLABEL co-ed group hadn't put out new music in nine months. Their debut EP came out in December of the previous year. That same day, they hit a popup event at a store in Jung-gu, Seoul.
Since then, member Youngseo has been everywhere. Multiple brand popups. All-black fits that people can't stop talking about.
From 'Are You Next' finalist to THEBLACKLABEL's only vocalist
Youngseo is ALLDAY PROJECT's sole vocalist. Her path here was weird. She trained at Belif Rap, placed 2nd in the final of survival audition program Are You Next (알유넥스트), and was selected for ILLIT's debut lineup before things changed direction.
She slid into THEBLACKLABEL's DMs on Instagram. Proposed a personal audition. They said yes. She joined the label in early 2024 and became ALLDAY PROJECT's final member around May 2024.
(The DM-to-debut pipeline is genuinely rare, and it worked.) She still talks to the ILLIT members she trained with. CRASH activities are ongoing.
