BIGBANG's Daesung shares stadium rehearsal shot from 'XX : COSMOS' world tour
Daesung shared a rehearsal photo from an empty stadium as BIGBANG's 2026-2027 world tour moves through Asia, North America, and Europe.

Stadium floors, empty seats, world tour in motion
Daesung (강대성, 37) posted a photo on the 21st. He stood on a large outdoor stadium stage with audience seats still empty — a behind-the-scenes glimpse from BIGBANG's ongoing world tour.
The tour, BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR XX : COSMOS, started with a Goyang concert and has since crossed Asia, North America, and Europe. BIGBANG released the digital single BiiiG in August ahead of the run.
Two decades of solo output running alongside the group
This year marks Daesung's 20th debut anniversary. He debuted with BIGBANG on the group's first single BIGBANG in 2006 and launched solo activities with the digital single 날 봐, 귀순 in 2008. In Japan he performs under the name D-LITE, with two full-length albums — D'scover and D'slove — to his name there.
Recent solo releases have come steadily. 대성 Special Single dropped in late 2023. He followed with Falling Slowly, a digital single in 2024. D's WAVE, his first mini-album, arrived in 2025, along with the digital single 한도초과. That same year he released the Japanese version of Umbrella as a digital single.
Beyond music, Daesung hosts the YouTube web variety show 집대성, where he does talk and performance content with various guests. He previously appeared as a fixed cast member on SBS shows Family Outing and Every Night, and has credits in the drama Musical Survival What's Up and the animated film Sammy's Adventure.
Brand deal and a long record of giving back
Daesung has been named the 2027 brand model for Daesung MyMac, an online education platform aimed at students preparing for exams. The campaign slogan: "믿어. 결국 이루어질 테니" — Believe. It will eventually come true.
His charitable work stretches back nearly as long as his career. He served as promotional ambassador for Save the Children's hat-knitting campaign in 2008, enrolled in donation insurance in 2009, and joined a pediatric hospital fund-raising project in 2012.
