BOYNEXTDOOR take first post-comeback win on M Countdown with 'ANIMAL'
BOYNEXTDOOR claimed their first music show trophy since returning with repackage album 'HOME: DELUXE', which charted across Hanteo, Oricon, and Circle Chart.

First win, first comeback
BOYNEXTDOOR — Seongho, Riwoo, Myungjae-hyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak — won 1st place on Mnet M Countdown on October 8. It's their first music broadcast win since returning with the repackage album HOME: DELUXE and its title track ANIMAL.
Holding the trophy, the members spoke to their fanbase ONEDOOR: "We wanted to give a gift to our fans during the tour, and we are grateful that you love 'ANIMAL' so much."
They continued: "Because ONEDOOR exists, we feel like we are living day by day. We will not take the love you give for granted."
The chart run behind the win
HOME: DELUXE was already climbing before the broadcast win landed. On the Hanteo Chart weekly album chart for September 28 to October 4, it ranked 1st. In Japan, the album hit No. 1 on the Oricon Daily Album Ranking on October 2 — the first day of its Japan release. It then settled at No. 4 on both the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking and Weekly Combined Album Ranking for September 28–October 4.
Every track from the album charted on the Circle Chart weekly download chart (September 27–October 3).
ANIMAL landed at No. 8. CLICHE hit No. 22. Count To Love (Korean Ver.) reached No. 23. 400 Years placed at No. 25. Boom Boom Boom charted at No. 44.
Tokyo next
The group heads to Japan immediately after the win. BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR KNOCK ON Vol.2 — their first world tour — runs October 10 to 11 at Lala Arena Tokyo Bay in Chiba. The members framed the ANIMAL promotions as a gift to fans during the tour run, which makes the timing of the win land a little differently.
