BTS 'ARIRANG' tour crosses $500M as Lima run draws 151,500 over 3 nights

$500M and counting

BTS's ARIRANG world tour crossed $500 million USD (approximately 680 billion KRW) in cumulative revenue. The milestone arrived as the group wrapped three nights in Lima, Peru on October 7 and 9–10, 2026.

Estadio San Marcos hosted 151,500 people across the run. Two dates were originally scheduled. Tickets sold out immediately, so a third show got added—and sold out too.

What 151,500 people did to Lima's infrastructure

Ride-hailing calls to the stadium hit 15 times normal levels on the first night. After the final show ended, that number jumped to 48 times normal. (That 48x figure settles any debate about whether a concert "matters" to a city.)

Peru's Ministry of Commerce and Tourism projected more than 50,000 people traveled to Lima during the concert period, generating roughly $18.7 million USD (approximately 25.1 billion KRW) in tourism revenue. The Lima Chamber of Commerce estimated up to 200 million soles (approximately 78 billion KRW) in total economic activity.

South America leg continues

On stage, BTS spoke to the crowd in Spanish. "Los amo," they said. "Your energy is truly amazing. I wonder why we came to Peru only now."

Member Jimin, whose birthday falls on October 13, told the audience: "I will live without forgetting that you all love me greatly from the other side of the world."

The ARIRANG tour launched in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province in April 2026. From Lima, BTS moves to Santiago, Chile for dates on October 14 and October 16–17, followed by stops in La Plata, Argentina and São Paulo, Brazil.
