HAENA drops second solo single '시, 분, 초' four months after debut

HAENA dropped her second solo digital single, 시, 분, 초, on October 6. Her solo debut track 틀린 답만 골라 came out in June.

The song is heavy rock. Upbeat guitar melody sits underneath a dense rock sound, with HAENA's vocals carrying a confession about two people moving at different speeds who will inevitably find each other. The theme is the misalignment of time and the unavoidable meeting that follows—the kind of lyrical premise that sounds simple until the guitar hits.

The composer behind GFRIEND's biggest songs

Seo Yong-bae (서용배) produced the track. His credits include GFRIEND's 시간을 달려서, 오늘부터 우리는, 유리구슬, and 귀를 기울이면. That run of songs defined the group's peak era. His involvement signals where WithUs Entertainment is positioning HAENA's sound.

The music video, released simultaneously with the audio, is an AI-generated animation. HAENA appears as an animated character traveling across time and space toward the other person, putting the song's narrative on screen rather than staging a conventional performance shoot.

From Angel Noise to solo

HAENA has been a member of girl band Angel Noise (엔젤노이즈) since 2024. She expanded into solo work this year, making 틀린 답만 골라 her first release outside the group. 시, 분, 초 is her second. She is WithUs Entertainment's first female artist on the roster.
