Hari Su recalls journalist asking about her sex life at marriage press conference
South Korea's first-generation transgender entertainer Hari Su shared a story on YouTube on Oct. 10 about an invasive question a journalist asked at her marriage announcement press conference.

A question she never forgot
Hari Su, South Korea's first-generation transgender entertainer, recalled a journalist asking her "how do you have sexual relations with your husband?" at the press conference where she announced her marriage.
The account came in a short-form video posted to YouTube channel Studio 830 on October 10, titled "Rude questions I heard because I am transgender."
"It's a rude question even between close people, but we weren't that close, and the journalist suddenly asked the question at a press conference."
Hari Su said she responded directly: "I told that journalist sharply, 'Get your act together.'" In the moment, she thought, "What does this person have in their head? How has this person lived in the world to say such dirty things?"
Her career and personal timeline
Hari Su debuted in 2001 with her first studio album Temptation. She appeared in Yellow Hair 2 (2001), Emergency Measure 19 (2002), and Hari Su Obscene (2004).
She married singer Miki Jung in 2006 and divorced in 2017.
