I.O.I confirmed for MMA2026 Day 1 after Melon #1 with 'Suddenly'

I.O.I headline Day 1 at Gocheok

I.O.I will perform on Day 1 of MMA2026 — November 14 — at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul's Guro-gu. The group reunites roughly nine years after disbandment. They're the headlining addition in the final batch of 11 acts added to complete the 26-team lineup for The 18th Melon Music Awards.

The timing tracks. Their mini album 3 title track 갑자기 (Suddenly), from I.O.I : LOOP, hit #1 on both the Melon TOP100 and HOT100. Three consecutive music broadcast wins followed.

Full two-day lineup

Day 1 (Nov. 14) — 14 acts total:

• NCT DREAM, ATEEZ, YENA, RIIZE, TWS, RESCENE, Hearts2Hearts

Chart context for the new additions

aespa arrives with their 2nd full-length album LEMONADE, which posted results on global charts. IVE recorded a Melon weekly chart #1 and eight music broadcast wins with BANG BANG this year. They'll pre-release 룩스 캔 킬 (Looks Can Kill) on November 19 before dropping the same-titled mini album on November 26. KiiiKiii reached #1 on the Melon TOP100 with 404 (New Era). CORTIS logged five consecutive months in the Melon monthly chart TOP3 with REDRED.

MMA2026 runs under the slogan K-POP CONNECT: The New Pulse and introduces a new Global TOP10 award category tied to the Global-K Chart, a unified Korea-China-Japan music index. Melon is also running a 캐치 더 타이밍 (Catch the Timing) ticket event with 224 invitation passes available through November 4. An online fan cheering space called 응원보드 is live alongside it.
