IVE comeback turns Seoul's DDP into a K-pop experience hub with laser shows and photo zones
Seoul City transforms Dongdaemun Design Plaza into an IVE fan zone for the group's comeback, with exterior video, synchronized laser shows, and a themed booth running through November 1.

Dongdaemun Design Plaza is going full IVE. Seoul City and the Seoul Design Foundation announced October 21 they're running DIVE IN TO LIGHT, a joint promotion tied to IVE's return that turns DDP into a fan experience space with exterior video, laser shows, and a themed booth.
What's already running — and what drops October 26
A comeback video has been screening on the DDP exterior via DDP 365 Light since October 19, running through November 30. October 26 brings the album release date and new synchronized laser shows and lighting effects tied to the new song.
A promotional booth operates daily from 5:30 PM to 11 PM through November 1. The space includes a photo zone built around new album imagery and hero masks that IVE members wore on display. Snap a photo of the zone or the DDP 365 Light display, post it to social media, and you get a commemorative postcard co-produced by DDP and IVE. Two beverages themed on the new track Looks Can Kill are also available at a cafe inside DDP Market.
The numbers behind Seoul's K-pop venue push
Seoul City isn't guessing. Seoul Light DDP 2026 Autumn, held September 3–13, drew 700,512 visitors. During event hours (6 PM to 11 PM), foot traffic in the DDP area rose 39.3% compared to the period just before. Daily average card spending in nearby commercial areas climbed 17.5% year-on-year; foreign card spending jumped 38.6%. A SEVENTEEN 10th debut anniversary event near the Han River in May pulled more than 100,000 visitors over four days.
Kim Hyun-woo, Director of Seoul City's Economic Affairs Bureau, laid out the strategy: "When combining K-POP's global influence and Seoul's attractive urban spaces, the city itself can become new cultural content and a tourism resource."
Seoul City plans to develop DDP as the central hub for K-pop joint promotions with entertainment companies, then extend that model to major tourist attractions and alleyway commercial districts across the city. IVE fans making the trip should note: the booth window closes November 1.
