Eight months later, IVE is back
IVE's new mini album Looks Can Kill drops October 26. The title track pre-releases October 18. Their last domestic cycle was February's REVIVE+, their second full-length album.
What the teaser shows
Starship Entertainment released the first MV teaser on October 16. All six members walk through a street of burning cars and cracked pavement in hero suits, each in a member-specific color. Each also gets an individual hero name:
Captain Purple. Wonder Green. Jin Yellow. Bat Pink. Super Blue. Spider Red.
The sound
The title track opens on an intense synth pad rhythm. Heavy, rough bass layers in alongside drum and electronic sounds—built to express IVE's ability to dominate a room by presence alone, in a confident and high-energy atmosphere.
