Ex-Pristin member Jeong Eun-woo drops Part 2 exposé on Hina Pia's alleged Shincheonji ties
Former Pristin member Jeong Eun-woo posted a follow-up video on Oct. 13 alleging fraud, Shincheonji ties, and a shaman visit during her time in Hina Pia.

"Be careful" — the warning before the video
Jeong Eun-woo posted her "Shincheonji Girl Group Story Part 2" video on Oct. 13, days after teasing it with a pointed message on her personal account: "I've been brewing part 2. After posting part 1, I received many shocking reports via DM, but they're still going around lying. Be careful."
She had previously claimed that her second group, Hina Pia (희나피아), "was close to a Shincheonji group."
Jirisan shamans and a name from the chairman
During Hina Pia's formation in 2019, red flags started appearing. The company ordered members to travel to Jirisan to receive spiritual energy from a shaman, each going one by one. Then, without asking anyone, the company held an internal meeting and announced the group's name would be Hina Pia. "The chairman told us to do it that way," she recalled being told—an explanation she found baffling.
Suspicions deepened when the company sent photos of a supposed 100-pyeong practice room under construction. She said the images looked pulled from Google. When the facility actually opened, it was a single small room in a very small building. "From then on, something felt off," she said.
Out of 7 music shows, barely 2
The reality inside Hina Pia bore little resemblance to what was promised. Out of seven music broadcast slots available, the group appeared on roughly two. Clothing came from the cheapest items on online shopping malls. The company's promise that everything would be "prepared without financial concerns" was a lie.
Hina Pia disbanded after nine months, in 2020. Jeong Eun-woo was the first member to terminate her contract. "In the end it didn't work out and it was fraud, and I was so disappointed that I was the first to terminate my contract."
Back-to-back collapse: Pristin disbanded in 2019 after two years, then Hina Pia fell apart nine months later. Her music career effectively ended. "My first group didn't work out and the second one was a scam, so I didn't want to do it," she said. She now works as a coordinator and consultant at a cosmetic surgery clinic.
(Jeong Eun-woo first appeared on Mnet's Produce 101 in 2016, then debuted with Pristin in 2017.)
