Kim Su-chan wraps Beopsusa and Hoengseong stages, heads to Seongnam Bongguksa next

Two stages down, Seongnam next

Kim Su-chan hit Beopsusa on Songnisan and the Hoengseong Hanwoo Festival on October 9, then posted a message to his fans.

"Thank you to everyone who was with us from Beopsusa at Songnisan to the Hoengseong Hanwoo Festival today. Tomorrow I'll regroup and see you at Bongguksa in Seongnam the day after tomorrow."

He performs at Bongguksa in Seongnam on October 11.

In the race

The festival run lands while Kim Su-chan competes for the October champion slot on MBC ON's 트롯챔피언 (Trot Champion). He's nominated with the track 남자다, facing off against Bin Ye-seo and Seong-ri.

In 2025 he also holds a fixed spot on 샅바전쟁 17대1 and appeared on 가보자GO Season 5. His TV presence stays steady.

How he got here

Kim Su-chan debuted in 2012 with 오디션, but he'd already won the highest award (최우수상) at KBS1's 전국노래자랑 Boryeong city edition before releasing anything. 사랑의 해결사 came in 2019. The 2020 mini-album 수찬노래방 followed, with its title track 엉덩이 — a dance trot remake featuring Jin-seong, Kim Hee-jae, and Jung Dong-won in the video.

His 미스터트롯 run put him in the final top 10. He's been a regular on KBS1's 가요무대 since 2013. A 2020 라디오 스타 appearance and a fixed role on KBS2's 살림하는 남자들 in 2023 rounded out his resume (the man has logged more TV time than most people have had hot meals).

Seongnam is next.
