Lee Joon calls out expensive weddings on air — DinDin immediately makes it about Kim Jong-min
Lee Joon ranted about expensive weddings on Oct. 18's 'Bapgap Haneun Namjadeul'—and DinDin immediately brought up Kim Jong-min's notoriously lavish ceremony.

Lee Joon's wedding take goes sideways fast
Lee Joon came to Bapgap Haneun Namjadeul ready to speak his mind. On the October 18 episode of the Comedy TV show, he and DinDin visited charcoal-grilled rib, chicken, and kalguksu restaurants, trying to guess menu prices. Mid-meal, he pivoted to weddings.
"I personally don't want buffets at weddings," he said, picking galbi meat off the bone. "I'd prefer galbitang. Do you know what kind of wedding I hate the most? Expensive weddings."
DinDin didn't miss a beat. "Jong-min hyung's wedding?"
The room erupted. Lee Joon caught himself and apologized: "I'm sorry."
Why Kim Jong-min's wedding is still a talking point
The joke landed because Kim Jong-min's wedding actually was that extravagant. He married a non-celebrity wife 11 years his junior at a five-star hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul on April 11 of last year. The ceremony was elaborate enough that people speculated it ran at a financial loss (적자설). Kim Jong-min has since announced a pregnancy.
DinDin won the three-round price-guessing competition. Bapgap Haneun Namjadeul airs on Comedy TV every Sunday at 9:30 PM.
