Lee Soo-man's first groups since leaving SM
October 12, 2026. Kintex in Goyang. A2O SOUL and A2O LITE took the stage at WELCOME TO SOULITE From A2O SOUL A2O LITE, the global showcase marking their official debut. These are Lee Soo-man's first acts since his non-compete agreement ended after he left SM Entertainment in 2023.
A2O SOUL: 15-member boy group. A2O LITE: 9-member girl group. All 24 members are teenagers from Korea, China, Japan, and Thailand.
'SUPERSTAR,' 'NEON,' and the people behind them
SUPERSTAR is A2O SOUL's debut track. NEON belongs to A2O LITE. Both bear the work of producer Yoo Young-jin, who's collaborated with Lee Soo-man for years. He wrote and arranged SUPERSTAR, handling vocal direction too. For NEON, he wrote, composed, and arranged.
Girls' Generation's Sunny produced as well, designing the trainees' education program and directing choreography and styling for both groups.
Samsung tech and a shared cosmic universe
The music videos use 4DGS (4D Gaussian Splatting), developed with Samsung Electronics. Multiple cameras capture artist movements at once, then the data renders performers and space in three dimensions—viewers pick their own angle. (Standard MVs lock you in one spot.)
Both groups inhabit SOULITE, a virtual planet where inhabitants create freely. Their 24-member story unfolds across a single universe called ACE (A2O Cosmic Epic). The roadmap includes group activities, cross-team units mixing boy and girl group members, and solo projects.
Cheer the story
