Heo Yong-byul hits a festival stage

Lim Han-byul, 37, took the night stage at the Chilgok Nakdong River Peace Festival as part of vocal project group Heo Yong-byul. The trio includes Huh Gak and Shin Yong-jae. Photos from the performance went up on October 17.

Her caption after the show was brief: "It was good to do Heo Yong-byul after a long time."

A discography built across eight years

Lim Han-byul's solo work started in 2018 with her first solo single 이별하러 가는 길. Next came a collaboration, 오월의 어느 봄날 (Feat. 첸), with EXO's Chen. The digital single 9월 24일 arrived in 2021. Happiness dropped as a pre-release single in 2023.

2024 moved fast. She released 허용별 프로젝트 - Special Single, 이별하고 나서야 깨달았어, and 그대만의 노래 in quick succession.

She also won the 190th episode of 복면가왕 in 2022, competing under a different name on a return run.

From trainee shows to a wedding song

Lim Han-byul has been a regular on Mnet's idol-survival shows. She served as a VOCAL master on 걸스플래닛999 : 소녀대전 (2021) and 보이즈플래닛 (2023). She returned for vocal training and evaluation on 보이즈 II 플래닛 and 플래닛 C : 홈레이스 in 2025.

She performed the congratulatory song 결혼해 줄래요? for a Naver employee on their YouTube channel—the kind of side moment that keeps her name circulating between bigger projects.
