Musinsa Megastore Seongsu: 2,000 sqm fashion playground just opened

Aiko Tanaka·6/9/2026, 4:10:28 PM

Musinsa's new Seongsu flagship opened April 24 and it's genuinely overwhelming in the best way—think department store scale but curated like the online site you've been scrolling. The space spans B1 to 4F, about 2,000 sqm, with roughly 1,000 brands under one roof. You'll need half a day minimum to move through it without rushing.

What's actually in here:

B1 is sneaker heaven: Adidas, Nike, Asics, Puma walls packed floor to ceiling. If you've only tried shoes online, this is where you test them.

1F holds the trendier labels—Ronron, Low Classic, The Barnet, Glowny—plus the Frantic Service popup (living room concept, mint walls, leather sofa; runs through May 10). New Era's NFL Blokecore x dancer Kyoka collab is also here with customization patches and Sanrio/Pokémon collab drops.

2F is the revelation: Musinsa Beauty's first offline store. High-taste brands like Glowly, Flower Nose, Flor Bois, plus a full niche fragrance wall. There's also a color lens popup (Clarset, Romy, Envy, OH!, Oha, Ulia)—you can compare shades side by side, which is impossible online. Beauty promotion: ₩50k+ gets a gacha coin; ₩100k+ gets a goodie bag (while stock lasts—morning visit is strategic).

2F also stocks Objet by Koondalini's new Liakym 'Haebang' collab (hand cream, body wash, lotion)—bergamot-forward, fresh scent, beautiful packaging. Test it at the sink station in-store.

3F is Musinsa Standard's dedicated zone. This season's curved pants, windbreakers, and seamless underwear are here—and feeling the fabric in person makes sizing way easier than guessing online. 4F is a food court (Jjuak Jjuak, Tteoksan, Anjungmao, Pizza Slice, Poughlend, Kimbap Daejang) with indoor and outdoor terrace seating.

Timing & discounts:

Opening promotions through April 26: up to 10% off (some exclusions). New app download gives 10% off (max ₩5,000, first-time customers only). Go on a weekday morning if you want to move without crowds; opening day was packed entrance-to-exit. Beauty gacha and goodie bags deplete by afternoon.

Who this is for:

If you've been buying from Musinsa online for years, this is the moment to see everything at once and actually touch the pieces. If you're into niche beauty or color lenses, the 2F alone justifies the trip. If you want to try Korean fashion labels with a physical fitting room, the 1F-3F rotation covers most trending names. If you're just passing through Seongsu (it's the neighborhood for design right now), this is the anchor stop.

Who it's not for:

If you hate crowds or prefer intimate boutiques, opening week will feel chaotic. If you're budget-hunting for deep discounts, the beauty ranking zone has up to 89% off select items, but most full-price stock is standard online pricing.

Bring a real bag (not just a phone) and comfortable shoes. You'll be walking.
