Collecta pop-up in Hongdae: custom tees and multi-artist character goods through Oct 13
Collecta Zone is a collaborative pop-up in Hongdae featuring work from multiple artists, anchored by the Heullaengi Mulkae character (a cute seal). The space sits near Gyeongui Line Forest Path, making it an easy stop on a date or neighborhood walk. The blogger visited and found the entrance greeting you with a life-size Heullaengi Mulkae figure — immediate mood boost.

Inside, the pop-up stocks character goods from each artist, all displayed in one space. The blogger notes it feels like a mini illustration fair: you discover artists you didn't know before, each with their own style. Exclusive-to-this-venue items add to the appeal. The goods range from small collectibles to larger pieces, and the blogger found themselves picking up items just from browsing.

At the back of the space is a photo zone where you can take shots with the displays — the blogger grabbed a "life-cut" (인생네컷) moment here.

The standout experience: a custom t-shirt station. You pick a design (stickers/graphics), choose your placement, and they heat-press it onto a tee on-site. Base shirt is 15,000 won; design add-ons run 3,000–5,000 won depending on size. The blogger went for the large Heullaengi Mulkae design on both shirts (20,000 won each) and came away with matching couple tees. It's a hands-on keepsake, not just a purchase.

The pop-up runs through October 13, 2026 — if you're in Seoul and love character goods or want a custom merch moment, this is worth the trip to Hongdae. Walk-in friendly, no reservation mentioned.
