Methodology: Releases = artist_events (type in comeback/release, visible) with an event date in the trailing 90 days, up to today — future-dated announcements are excluded. Actor-led entries (artist_type = actor) are excluded, and one event counted once even when linked to several artists. Shares are computed over releases with a known debut year (311 of 376); acts with no debut year on file are excluded from both numerator and denominator. This is KTRENZ's tracked set, not the full K-pop release universe. Generation derived from each act’s debut year (5th-gen ≥2023, 4th-gen 2018–22, 3rd 2012–17, 2nd 2005–11, 1st ≤2004).
