Agencies denied pregnancy rumors about Ailee, Shin Min-ah, and Gong Hyo-jin. Hyuna's public diet post led to a 10 kg loss in one month and a mid-performance collapse.

Four female celebrities have been targeted by unsolicited pregnancy speculation and body commentary in recent weeks. The fallout ranged from agency denials to a medical emergency.
Ailee's label A2Z Entertainment addressed the rumors head-on June 19, calling her pregnancy "not true" and adding, "We will share good news when it comes." She married Choi Si-hun in April of last year and has been open about undergoing in vitro fertilization, documenting the process on Elly's Marriage Diary. Last month, the couple shared their second embryo transfer. Ailee has spoken candidly about the emotional toll: "Since my debut, I have worked without properly resting. I wonder if I overworked myself. I feel sorry to my husband." Choi Si-hun responded, "It's okay. Since you've been running without rest all this time, if we work together we can definitely overcome it."
Shin Min-ah's agency issued a flat denial after pregnancy speculation followed her appearance in a loose-fit outfit at Disney+ Originals Preview 2025 in Hong Kong ahead of her marriage to Kim Woo-bin. She attended a VIP preview screening of the film Pupil on the 15th. Gong Hyo-jin faced similar rumors after posting a photo on social media in October of last year; her agency called them "not true."
Min Hyo-rin took another route entirely, posting on SNS: "Please also support me as I spend time as a mother."
Hyuna's case was different. She posted a self-directed message urging herself to diet, writing that she "liked being bone thin" and should "try again." She lost over 10 kg in one month. She fainted during a performance as a direct result of the rapid weight loss.
