Chart momentum was immediate. Golden Hour: Part 5 went straight to #1 on Hanteo Chart's real-time album chart and Circle Chart's real-time retail album chart on release day. It topped iTunes Top Albums Charts in 26 countries and regions, including the US and Europe. The Worldwide iTunes Albums Chart saw it at #1, with additional entries on Apple Music Top Albums and the European iTunes Albums Chart. BAD hit #1 on Bugs real-time and iTunes Top Songs in 8 countries and regions, charting on both Worldwide and European iTunes Songs charts. Every track on the album entered the Bugs real-time chart.
The tracklist spans multiple moods. MAMACITA uses Latin trap to confess true love. FALLIN' captures the moment reason breaks down through EDM. TOXIN sits in deep R&B. Closing track Body puts the feeling of something that burns bright and disappears into R&B. Hongjoong and Mingi co-wrote and co-composed every track.
Their previous release, Golden Hour: Part 4, peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200 and sold 200,000 copies in its first week in the US. That album won five music show awards.
ATEEZ headlines British Summer Time Hyde Park in London on June 28 (local time).
