BOYNEXTDOOR's 'VIRAL' MV hits 10 million YouTube views three days after 'HOME' release

BOYNEXTDOOR's VIRAL music video crossed 10 million YouTube views on June 11 at approximately 12:10 PM. The group released their first studio album HOME three days earlier.

The MV started at No. 4 on Korea's YouTube Daily Popular Music Videos chart on release day. By June 9 it had climbed to No. 2. That same day it charted across six countries and regions: South Korea, Japan, Australia, and Singapore among them. June 10 brought it to No. 5 on Japan's LINE Music Music Video Top 100 and No. 19 on China's QQ Music MV chart.

On the audio side, VIRAL entered Melon's daily chart at No. 68 on June 8 and moved to No. 64 the next day (one source puts the June 10 figure at No. 66). Bugs saw it jump from No. 52 to No. 38 in a single day. Spotify Korea's Daily Top Songs tracked it climbing from No. 29 to No. 20 by June 9. Apple Music's Top 100 Today: South Korea moved from No. 22 to No. 13 over the same window. Every album track except I Wonder, Always — a CD-exclusive closer — charted on both Apple Music and Spotify.

VIRAL was written to express the group's wish that their music reaches more people. Members Myung Jaehyun (명재현) and Unhak (운학) contributed to the songwriting. All six members — Seongho, Ryu, Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, Ihan, and Unhak — participated in production across the full album, which drew from experiences and thoughts from their time as a group.

Before the comeback, the group performed Nice Guy, 똑똑똑, and debut track One and Only at Weverse Con, the indoor stage of the 2026 Weverse Con Festival.

The June 8 release came with a comeback showcase, BOYNEXTDOOR 1st Studio Album [HOME] COMEBACK SHOWCASE. They're now three weeks into a music-show run: M Countdown (June 11), Music Bank (June 12), Show! Music Core (June 13), and Inkigayo (June 14). Appearances on MBC's 구해줘! 홈즈, SBS Power FM's 박소현의 러브게임, and YouTube channel 돌박이일 are also scheduled.
