Trot singer Choi Jeon-seol and French R&B artist Daexon joined forces on '진빼이', a June 26 release built around Gyeongsang dialect and the theme of genuine competition.

Trot singer Choi Jeon-seol and French R&B singer-songwriter Daexon dropped 진빼이 on June 26 across online music platforms.
The title pulls from Gyeongsang Province dialect—a regional twist on 진짜, meaning "real" or "genuine." The song hammers the concept home. Lyrics spit "짜배이(가짜) 아이다! 나는 진빼이다!" and "가짜는 오래 못 간다, 진짜는 끝까지 간다" (fakes don't last; the real thing goes all the way). It's about people competing on skill and determination, nothing else.
Choi Jeon-seol's agency, JMG (더블엑스엔터테인먼트), framed the track as made for survival programs like 미스터트롯 and 무명전설—shows that strip away everything but raw ability. "'진빼이' is a song containing the determination of genuine talents who have endured with only skill and determination," the agency said.
These two come from opposite corners. Daexon works in sensual, refined R&B soul—the French tradition. Choi Jeon-seol brings explosive vocal power and earthy trot grit. The agency saw it as two artists from completely different worlds communicating through musical authenticity alone. They hope the song becomes "deep empathy and encouragement for many listeners who quietly walk their own path amid fierce competition."
The track is expected to reach both domestic trot fans and international listeners.
