dodree to drop pre-release 'Lilac' on June 17, second digital single June 24

dodree is back. The JYP Entertainment-launched female duo — Na Young-joo (나영주) and Lee Song-hyun (이송현) — will drop pre-release track Lilac on June 17, with their full second digital single following on June 24 across music streaming sites.

Concept photos for Lilac hit the duo's official SNS on June 13 (one outlet places the drop on June 14). The track explores the love of a shy yet bold girl and opens the second digital single.

This comeback arrives roughly five months after their January debut in the K-crossover pop genre, which blends traditional Korean music melodies with pop production. Na Young-joo comes from a three-generation family of traditional Korean music and majored in Korean classical music. Lee Song-hyun majored in Korean dance. Together, they anchor the duo's sound in that fusion.

Since debut, dodree has collaborated with the National Museum of Korea and worked as advertisement models. Lilac is next.
