EPEX surprise-previews 'ECHO' choreography at Seoul busking ahead of June 9 mini album drop

EPEX dropped a surprise chorus preview of their 7th mini album title track ECHO at a busking event across two Seoul locations on June 7 — Manwon Hangang Park Chorok-gil Square and Myeongmok Station Culture Square.

The full package, 소화 : Epilogue, releases June 9 at 6 PM across online music sites, along with the ECHO music video. The group had already put out two MV teasers for ECHO on June 5 and June 7.

At the busking, members performed the ECHO chorus with energetic choreography driven by a strong hip-hop sound. They also ran through three tracks from their previous regular 3rd album 소화 3장 : 낭만 청춘 — title track 눈물나게 고마워 and B-sides 늑대와 춤을 and 별헤는 밤 — plus 여우가 시집가는 날.

June 8 marked EPEX's 5th debut anniversary. (Five years in and they're still doing surprise street sets.) The group wanted to reflect through music the time they have grown together with fans. Their agency called the album a result that condenses their journey so far and will be a starting point announcing the group's new leap.

소화 : Epilogue is the first EPEX album on which every member directly participated in the production process.
