On June 20, FT Island bassist Lee Jae-jin posted a backstage group photo from Taipei—the first day of performances there. The hashtags confirmed it all: the tour title FaTe, the city, the date.

The FaTe tour kicked off in Macau in June. From there it moves through Taipei, Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok before heading to Japan for stops in Nagoya, Kobe, and Tokyo. Seoul gets its own event in June 2026—the 2026 FTISLAND TOUR 0 — XIX — III FaTe in SEOUL at KBS Arena. Lee Jae-jin is on the lineup.
Lee Jae-jin, 34, plays bass and handles sub-vocals for FT Island. In the unit FT. Triple, he shifts to main vocalist and also writes and performs songs.
He wrapped a two-month run as Mercutio in the musical Romeo and Juliet with his final show in May. Next up: a 2024 appearance as Watari Ryota in April is Your Lie at the CJ Towol Theater of the Seoul Arts Center.
His acting resume includes the dramas Can't Stop Marriage (Wang Sa-baek), Unni is Alive!, Rich Man, and 4 Houses. On stage he's played Yoon Ki-chul in I Loved You (2019), Jin-gu (past) in the military-created Return: That Day's Promise (2020), Arthur in Vampire Arthur, and Basil in 1976 Harlan County.
